Washington Water Trust works to improve and protect stream flows and water quality throughout Washington that benefit agriculture, fisheries and wildlife by using innovative, market-based transactions and cooperative partnerships to create balanced solutions.
Flow Restoration and Protection
Since 1998 Washington Water Trust has worked successfully to restore stream flows that sustain the fisheries, water quality and recreational resources vital to our quality of life in the Northwest. We are a leader in river restoration with 30 years of collective experience in water rights due diligence and water management alternatives. Our services include:
• Executing water right donations, sales and leases
• Negotiating projects for Washington's Trust Water Program
• Designing water management alternatives
• Managing water rights assessment and mitigation
• Leveraging funds from multiple programs to support projects benefiting stream flow
Consultation and Coordination
We specialize in navigating the intricacies of water rights and water law and know how to develop transactions and scenarios to protect the interests of multiple parties. We can provide confidential consultations on a wide range of water management questions. We draw on our extensive network of partnerships with landowners, irrigation districts, agencies and other stakeholders to effect positive, balanced solutions.
